This assignment is designed to mirror a real-world client project. Explainer videos communicate something specific in a beautiful, entertaining or moving way. This project gives students the opportunity to create a strong art direction with compelling animation.
Focus on Planning, Deconstructing Information & Pushing Visual Concepts.
This project is heavily focused on Art Direction. Students start with raw data and create 5 compositions that they then animate into a sequence. The focus here is on creating effective visual communications in a style that fits with your portfolio goals.
Animation For A Cause - Thesis Film
Focus on Storytelling, Pre-Production & Directing.
This project is the culmination of our program. This is where students create their most compelling piece of work. We want students to develop original, portfolio pieces and this 9-week production class is designed to deliver one.
Students apply a quality over quantity mindset as they direct and produce every aspect of this film.
