{Student Work} Davide Cirrincione : Visual Essay

Davide Cirrincione challenged himself to communicate about a complex issue. Davide had was having an on-going conversation with a friend about the homeless people in his area. It was becoming common that they were being approached and asked for money. They struggled to know the right way to deal with these interactions.

So Davide used his Visual Essay assignment in Class 1, to explore the issue. Here is his final piece.

Davide worked really hard on this project and really explored a number of options in how to tell this short story. Here is some of his early pre-production work. His style developed nicely from the earliest versions through to the final.

His first step, after working on the script, was to think through the story boards.

Davide did a nice job of expressing an idea about this topic. This goes right to the heart of our Visual Essay assignment, where we want to challenge students to communicate through design and motion.
